What should I expect from the application process?
After filling out the application below, you’ll be contacted by one of our Volunteer Coordinators. She’ll schedule a one-hour orientation with you, in which you’ll learn about the organization and how it functions. Then you’ll discuss your skills and interests and decide where you’d fit in best.
Do you meet often?
We have Volunteer Networking Meetings once a week, on Sundays at 6 PM EST. While they’re not mandatory, these meetings are where we come together in community with other women, plan projects, hear activism reports, debrief events, and discuss current issues. (Note: Specific teams may or may not have additional meetings.)
What if I don’t have any of the listed skills you’re looking for?
That’s okay! While we’re always looking for expertise in accounting, fundraising, communications, graphic design, law, and more, many of our most valuable and reliable volunteers are Janes-of-all-trades. Showing up and being willing to try new things and learn is more valuable than anything else.
