These are the positions currently available at WDI USA. WDI USA is a 100% volunteer-run organization, so all of these positions are strictly voluntary.

If you are not interested in one of these positons, but would like to get involved in other ways, please feel free to submit a volunteer application. Aside from always welcoming volunteers-at-large, WDI USA’s current needs include spokeswomen, legal experts, digital marketers, and State Contacts in some states.
The policies and work of WDI USA are driven by our Board of Directors, which oversees a cadre of devoted and exceptional volunteer women.
The minimum qualifications to serve on the Board of Directors are:
- Be a signatory to the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights (the Declaration), and be committed to advancing the Declaration throughout law, policy, and society in the U.S.
- Be a volunteer with WDI USA (if you are not currently a volunteer and would like to apply for board membership, please complete this volunteer application).
- Familiarity and general alignment with radical feminist principles, analysis, values, and ethics.
- Comfort working across the political aisle when it is strategic to do so.
- Ability to meet weekly via Zoom
- Ability to monitor and be responsive on communications forums (including email and Slack) at least daily.
- Willingness to take on some additional responsibilities, which might include volunteer coordination, media coordination, development, or other specific oversight.
- Good writing and editing skills.
- Skillful, creative, and ethical strategic thinking, effective and clear communication, “can-do” attitude.
Per our bylaws, members of the Board of Directors may not receive any compensation for work they do in their capacity as directors, so membership on the Board is strictly a voluntary position (but directors may be compensated for contract work they do outside their capacity as directors).
