Our Library List is more than just recommended reading. Some of the books listed below are actively being suppressed, removed from bookstores and libraries, and even subject to suggestions of book burning! We hope not only that we can read and discuss these books, but also encourage you to request them for your local libraries, buy copies to donate or share with your friends, and most of all get the word out.
While we do not endorse every view espoused in every book on the list, we believe it is more important than ever to fight for freedom of speech and information access, especially for women and girls. Our selection also includes feminist texts that center women and give concrete ways to achieve women’s liberation, but this is by no means an exhaustive list! We’ll add more titles, new and old, over time.
