WDI USA is excited to share a document we’ve been working on designed to introduce volunteers to WDI USA’s principles of interacting with the media on behalf of the organization. We hope that reading this will give you a better sense of what skills are required for these interactions.
Note that simply reading this document does not authorize anyone to speak to the media on behalf of WDI USA. If, after reading this, you think that media seems like an area you might excel in, we hope you will join us the next time WDI USA hosts a media training so that you can become an approved spokeswoman!
