Protect Title IX: Take Action

In April the Department of Education finalized regulations that redefine sex to include the nebulous, sexist, and homophobic concept of “gender identity.” It did so over the objections of hundreds of thousands of U.S. residents.

Last month, Representative Mary Miller introduced legislation to “reverse Biden’s Title IX Rule which violates women and girls’ private spaces.” The legislation is H.J.Res 165 and states, “This joint resolution nullifies the final rule issued by the Department of Education titled Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance and published on April 29, 2024.”

Representative Miller stated:

“Joe Biden is undermining years of progress women have made in securing their rights under Title IX. For more than half a century, Title IX has protected women and girls, ensuring they have equal opportunities in education. However, the Biden Administration is putting our girls at risk by allowing men to access women and girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms. This divergence is a blatant violation of the protections Title IX was meant to guarantee, and it undermines the very foundation of women’s rights and security in their private spaces.”

That legislation will go to a vote in the House of Representatives THIS WEEK.
