WHRC USA today submitted their formal communication to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women cataloging the harms to women and girls of redefining sex to include “gender identity” in U.S. law.
The UN CSW annually solicits communications which provide detailed information about “violations of human rights that affect the status of women.”
WHRC USA ’s communication describes harms to American women from all three branches of our government; the Equality Act which the Democrats in Congress are trying to pass; Executive orders issued President Joe Biden that infringe on the sex-based rights of women and girls; and judicial reinterpretations of law that conflate sex with “gender identity.”
Any individual or organization may submit communications. This year’s deadline is August 1, 2021. A US signatory to the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based Rights has also submitted her individual letter. We link to it here, (with permission of the author), as an example of what is possible when women are determined to take action to fight back against “gender identity.”
