The U.S. chapter of Women’s Declaration International (WDI USA)  is looking for a dedicated and energetic woman to step into the position of Chief of Staff. Applications are due by Friday, October 27, 2023.

Since incorporating in 2021, the day-to-day work of operating WDI USA has fallen to the volunteer Board of Directors and to a cadre of dedicated volunteer women. We are hoping to ramp up our organizational structure and need a dynamic woman who is ready to dive in and recommend ways of doing that. Our long-term vision is for the staff to perform the day-to-day tasks of running the organization, freeing the Board of Directors to act as more of a policy-making body.

Tasks will include:

  • Monitoring organizational email frequently, and directing it to appropriate contacts;
  • Mastering our CRM platform and using it to send organizational email communications as needed;
  • Facilitating staff meetings; 
  • Working with the Treasurer on matters related to the budget: and
  • Creating and staffing roles that are designed to make WDI USA more efficient. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Leadership, facilitation, and organizing experience;
  • Experience managing volunteers;
  • Familiarity with computing platforms like Google Docs, Excel, etc.; and
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Social Media experience

No particular academic degree is required for this position. 

The Chief of Staff will work in close coordination with our organization’s volunteer coordinators. 

Like all our offices, this is a volunteer position at this time.
