Governor Greg Abbott received a response Wednesday from the Texas Department of Family and Protective services to his request for a determination about child genital mutilation for the purposes of gender reassignment. The TDFP found that such mutilation is “child abuse because it may cause a genuine threat of substantial harm from physical injury to the child.” Governor Abbott commendably announced that the determination and subsequent enforcement are effective immediately.
WHRC USA agrees. Article 9 of the Declaration on Women’s Sex-Based rights states that “children are not developmentally competent to give full, free and informed consent to such medical interventions… which may result in permanent adverse consequences.” Read our letter thanking the Governor. There are only 2 sexes, male or female. The terms “biological male” and “biological female” are redundant; males and females are male and female because of their biology. How does “gender identify” manifest without the use of stereotypes? Why do “gender” ideologues use bullying and threats of suicide instead of rational, open debate? Could it be because their arguments are gobbledygook, misogynistic, homophobic, child-abuse? Why aren’t gender ideologues being forced to prove a child is born in the wrong body? By what criteria is this known? Can a child be born of the wrong parents too? Or born in the wrong country? Or born at the wrong time? Let’s hear some clear definitions. Let’s hear some evidence.
And why do democrats cheer when unstable young women have healthy breasts removed, or young boys are chemically castrated? No human can change the sex they were born into. Why is “gender” suddenly a condition that needs corrective drugs and surgeries? Could it be because this garbage is being taught in schools to children as young as 5? Children cannot consent to a life-time of drugs, drugs that damage their vocal chords, stunt their growth and atrophy their sex organs. Get this garbage out of schools and law. Let children be children. Biology over ideology.
